Pumpkin Cocktail

Now that October is upon us, one of my favorite flavors is food or drinks made with pumpkin. If you look around, there's pies, pancakes, breads, ales but one drink I invented two years ago that you absolutely must try is the Pumpkin Cocktail. It's perfect for this season and doesn't seem as though you're drinking alcohol but more like dessert. It's based off the Brandy Alexander but takes a different twist because I added Pumpkin spice liqueur and orange Curacao. It's a drink I want to celebrate with because it my birthday this month, it's also great to serve throughout the fall and winter with friends and family, give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

The Pumpkin Cocktail    

1 oz of Bombay Sapphire Gin
1 oz of Pumpkin Spice liqueur 
1 oz of Simple Syrup
1/2 of Orange Curacao
2 oz of Heavy Cream
Ground Cinnamon for rimming

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds and pour into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with cinnamon.
